Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms

Please join the Butler County Recital Series as we present works by “The Three B’s”. Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms are considered to be pillars of Western Classical music, helping to define the ideals that shaped the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic eras of music. Butler County Symphony Orchestra’s concertmaster, Tanya Satteson, will partner with acclaimed collaborative pianist Nancy DeSalvo and vocalist Raquel Winnica Young at St. Peter’s Reformed Church in Zelienople to present some of the most-loved works from these estimable composer. The concert will open with J.S. Bach’s unaccompanied Partita No. 3 in E major for solo violin. The evening will also include Bach’s Ave Maria, Beethoven’s Sacred Songs, and Brahms’ Sonata No. 1 in G major for piano and violin, Op. 78.
